A few days after the 2016 USA election, investors with equity in marijuana companies must have been more than pleased with the price increases in marijuana stocks. How is this possible though? The Donald had just been elected president and we all know the Republicans stance on marijuana legalization/decriminalization, so how the fuck would marijuana investors have had great returns after the 2016 election?  Well, the answer is very simple and if the media had reported on certain events, more folks could have cashed in during this period. Very few folks were aware of the marijuana vote during that election. Donald Trump had just overshadowed everything.  Five States voted to decriminalize recreational marijuana. Of the five States, all but one voted yes with just Arizona voting no. California, Massachusetts, Nevada and Maine all voted YES. Before that election, we here at Pot N Politics had actually predicted that 4 states would vote yes. However, we had assumed Maine would have been the one to vote no. Three other States, Florida, North Dakota and Arkansas voted to legalize medical marijuana

After that election some marijuana companies saw their marijuana stocks more than quadruple, in some instances. Companies that were trading at below $2per share rose to above $10per share. The sweet news of recreational marijuana decriminalization was a favourable outcome for many marijuana companies. Many of these were penny stocks at the time and were able to pull their selves out of that classification.

As Canada counts down to July 2018(recreational marijuana legalization), I decided to share some of my knowledge on investing with these marijuana companies. If we take the law of empiricism into consideration, then I STRONGLY believe the same outcome is going to happen when Canada finally enforces new marijuana law in July of 2018. Observation is very important in this world we live in. Those that observe and learn well, are usually very successful in life. Having researched on marijuana and followed the marijuana stocks for over 3 years, I strongly believe I am a 100 percent right when I say

In 2018, marijuana stocks in American and Canada, will jump sharply when the new Canadian Marijuana law is enforced.

I could be wrong, but I doubt it. Watch this space for more info on these marijuana stocks. Remember, legalization is just around the corner and is as sure as death. Keep the bongs loaded and the joints burning folks.
