Congratulation to our southern neighbors on voting to legalize medical marijuana in North Dakota—a State that borders part of the Canadian & USA border. The North Dakota Medical Marijuana Legalization Initiative, popularly known as Initiated Statutory Measure 5 was overwhelmingly voted for by the voters of North Dakota, during the ballot of the 2016 USA Presidential election. About 210k voters, voted yes for this amendment, out of a possible 340k votes. Folks, that’s a whopping 60% voting to support this very needy amendment. I would have thought the vote would have been greater for yes votes, but that was not the case. The most important thing, is it pulled through. Many patients and top doctors, were kept awake late on election night –as this was one of the votes that came in very late. This is good news for them, as they will now be able to legally medicate with medical Marijuana .Can I get a hallelujah? HALLELUJAH

Initiated Statutory Measure 5 will enables folks suffering from illnesses like  Cancer, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Crohn’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, HIV, AIDS, Glaucoma, Post-traumatic Stress disorder (PTSD) and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis(ALS)  to use medical marijuana . The North Dakota Health Department will also have the power to add any other illness to the list of qualifying illness.  Our wish at potnpolitics is to make sure medical marijuana is allowed for any illness it can treat. If  medical marijuana can help one control their gas, then we believe they should be allowed to medicate with weed. This new amendment will go into effect in 2017 and I’m sure it will be warmly welcomed by millions of folks in that state.

The movement for marijuana legalization is going strong folks and soon recreational and medical marijuana, are going to be legal all over the world. The only countries that might not legalize marijuana, might not do it due to religious reasons and not due to them believing it’s dangerous. The world is slowly waking up to the advantages of weed. I am still surprised that so many people actually voted no for this astonishing amendment. I surely hope they awaken up soon and realize that marijuana is not as harmful as they believe it to be.  This was not even a vote for recreation marijuana, but for medical marijuana. Why 40% of the folks voted no, puzzled us greatly here at potnpolitics. I guess the most important thing, is the YES vote won

This is an event that was just inevitable folks. I would also like thank CNN’s Sanjay Gupta. Ever since he did his documentary, Weed, on CNN-potnpolitics started to notice a lot of changes with people’s views, when it comes to marijuana. He’s never taken credit for it and maybe he doesn’t even realize the major role he’s played. Big up to Dr. Sanjay Gupta folks and all the voters who voted yes for this bill.

Potnpolitics will definitely keep you updated on its success. Recreational Marijuana still remains illegal in North Dakota, but remember, legalization is just around the corner and is as sure as death. Keep the bongs loaded and the joints burning folks.
